ITB Berlin offers a unique platform to establish long-lasting business contacts. Moreover, students and alumni have the possibility to inform themselves about different career opportunities in the tourism sector. More than 11,000 exhibitors from 180 different countries present their products and services within 26 exhibition halls. At ITB Berlin you can get your career started.
National and international universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of cooperative education, scientific institutes and other service providers present their offers in hall 5.1 and talk about aspects of their work on stage (in German mostly).
In 2012 "Agentur für Arbeit", the German Federal Employment Agemcy, will be present again with its project "MeerArbeit", a career consulting service specialized on cruises and working on board.
The ITB Job Fair powered by YOURCAREERGROUP in hall 5.1 is a career platform for young professionals and employees working in the hotel, catering and travel industry. Take your chance and meet Human Resource directors from well-known tourism companies and talk with them about different career opportunities. Career Counseling is provided which includes a check of your CV and applications and which helps you to plan your next steps towards a successful career. In addition to that many jobs are offered by several ITB Berlin exhibitors and can be found on an extra wall in hall 5.1.
Young professionals and junior staff of the global travel and tourism industry will be given food for thought about their future career during our ITB Young Professional Day. Which steps get your career started? Do small steps mean small success? Fundamental, critical and controversial discussions will give you orientation in the travel industry business. The ITB Young Professional Day on 7 March is organized especially for young professionals and graduates. Most sessions are presented in German only.
