ITB Young Professional Day

Life-long learning is the essence of success also in the global travel and tourism industry. Entrants and junior staff will be given food for thought for their future career at ITB Young Professional Day. Those specializing in business travel and events will learn more about opportunities for further qualification in Germany. One advanced training course within the industry is the new "Manager for Business Travel and Mobility", offered by Chambers of Commerce. But also private institutions can help with a variety of job enhancements. Both sessions are presented in German only. For further information please visit www.itb-convention.com . The Trade Visitor Ticket enables you to participate in the ITB Young Professional Day at no additional costs.


Perspective Cruise Industry

Since 2005 the project ‘MeerArbeit’ has been active nationwide with teaching on cruise companies. At booth 101 in hall 5.1 you can talk personally to agents, managers and service personnel of the cruise industry to get to know how to "climb on board". As part of the stage program the makers of ‘MeerArbeit’ present the topic "Living and working on board" in detail with pros and cons of the different jobs. Tips and tricks for a successful application are also given. The following companies presented themselves at ITB Berlin 2013 on the stand:
